Posted on 12. Sep, 2010 by in Uncategorized

So it is time to shake things up on the launch pad this week.  Instead of rocketing into your tips of the week, I thought I would let some other “experts” give you interesting insight and helpful articles.  Hearing it from another source may make it stick!!

Green article: Men Who Don’t Ask for Directions Waste approx. $3000

This article caught my eye and I just HAD to post it.  For all the times you and your significant other are driving around lost but yet refuse to ask for help, remember this article.  I know we all have Google on our smart phones, GPS on our cars, watches and MP3 players, but for those time with no service, just pull over and ask, you may meet someone new and exciting.  Or they may send you in a huge 30 minute circle!

Health Article: How to Increase Your Metabolism

What is Metabolism?  Metabolism is the set of chemical reactions that happen in living organisms to maintain life. These processes allow organisms to grow and reproduce, maintain their structures, and respond to their environments.  Now how does that apply to us gals??  Here is an article how to give that metabolism a jet pack to get your body going and slim down or tone up!  This article applies to getting out of bed, at work, at play, at exercise time, grocery shopping and at home!  Get moving!!!

Food Article:  10 Ways to Eat Healthy at a Mexican Cantina.

What is your biggest downfall food?  Besides the chocolate, cookies and other “sweets”, what makes you throw up your arms and just enjoy??  For me it is Mexican Food – any type, anywhere, any day, any time!  Living in Southern California, I think I have become an excellent connoisseur of true Mexican food.  However, I can’t enjoy it every day, as much as I would like, so how should I reel it in so I don’t fall face first into the plate of nachos and forget about forks?

Recipe for the Week: Chicken Sausage & Roasted Veggie Pasta from Trader Joe’s Cookbook

Gotta ya thinking about Mexican food, and the recipe is this!?!?!?!  Try it, you may just love it!  Also, FYI, if you read the entire article on a Mexican Cantina, there are some great recipes within.   Jump over to FOOD for the TJ’s pasta dish.

Take some time and read these articles this week.  Then report back, did you like them, dislike them, enjoy the change or have any other articles we should read or look at?  Keep us posted with your insight.  We all learn from each other.
