Hey locals, lots to do on this unofficial last weekend of summer. Get out there and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. 

Try heading to the infamous Leucadia Art Walk. It is Sunday, Aug. 29, from 10-5 pm on Highway 101.  The Event Features: Art Demonstrations ~ Live Music ~ Children’s Art Activities ~ A Wine & Beer Garden (fees apply)~ Free Double-Decker Shuttle Bus Service ~ Free Parking at the Encinitas Civic Center and Coaster Station, both located on Vulcan Ave. at D. Street. 

Lucy, you got some splaining to do…. The Annual Orfila Grape Stomp on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010 from 4-8 pm.

End of the Summer Fire Run/Walk 4K.  The RockIt Mom family and in-laws have done this one in the past and love it!  Beautiful scenery, great fans and excellent cheering at the end!

Free Composting Workshop on Aug. 28, 2010 from 10-12pm at Quail Botanical Gardens.

Get out and enjoy the morning on the Aqua Hedonia lagoon.  Carlsbad Stand Up Paddleboard Club at 9am on both days. 

Try a FREE week of Yoga classes at Haute Yoga in Solana Beach. Start this weekend with Hot or Slow Flow to get your weekend off to the right start.  Ohhhmmm….. 

Fry Creek Trail in Cleveland National Forest.  About a 2 mile loop that is easy for whole family.  Trail head is off Hwy. 76 at the top of Palomar.
