How is March treating you? Like a lion or a lamb? March can be a very stressful, mundane and trying month, so take some time break out of your routine and mix things up a bit. Instead of drinking coffee, try herbal tea or a tea latte. Tired of the same cardio routine, mix it up with a jump rope, hula-hoop and some head banging rock music. Exercise helps slow the aging process. It has been shown that people who exercise have younger looking cells than those who don’t. Plus it reduces the risk of heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.
So quick, get out and exercise and help yourself!
How are those stress levels going so far? Handling it well. I will be honest, the stress has really gotten to me not once but twice to the point my body is reacting. Remember, it is the “most wonderful time of the year”, not the most miserable. Try to keep it all in perspective. And it is OK to say “No” to some invitations or requests or donation pleas. It is hard, but work on it. It is definitely a work in progress.
