Looking for some “free” entertainment for your kids.  Try the Dove Library in Carlsbad.  On Thursday, April 28th @ 6pm, they will be showing How To Train Your Dragon.  Sign ups/reservations are required: either going into the library’s reference desk or email darin.willamson@carlsbadca.gov.

On Mondays, at the Dove Library  in Carlsbad from 3-4 pm, there are games, refreshments, hanging out and kicking back with friends in the Gowland Room.  Come on by on April 4, 11, 18 & 25.  And watch for Rock the Library in May.

With St. Patrick’s day over, the start of daylight savings and awaiting Easter, keep on working on those renewed 2011 resolutions and preparations for summer.  Today is the long awaited First Day of Spring!  If only the weather could see the calendar.  Keep on smiling and focus on the summer, sun, heat and extra fun that will be here soon enough.

La Costa Meadows 25th Annual Halloween Carnival.  This is one of the biggest and best carnivals you will ever see.  There is a midway, rides, games, contests, more food than you can imagine, a haunted house, face painting, crazy hair, scarecrow alley and much more. 

 It is Friday and Saturday, make this a MUST DO this weekend.

San Diego Zoo, the whole month of October, KIDS ARE FREE with a paid adult admission.  Save some dough and have a fun family day.
