Sat., June 5, 2010 2 pm – 8 pm. San Marcos Rock, Blues and BBQ at Walnut Grove Park. Admission for adults/children.

Sat., June 5, 2010 9am – 12 pm. National Trails Day at Carlsbad Oaks N. Business Park.  celebrate the value of trails in the Carlsbad community through this national event organized by the American Hiking Association.

Sat., June 5, 2010, 8:30 am to 12 pm. Free Family Hike Sunset Park in San Marcos, CA.  Meet at Bradley Park, 1587 Linda Vista Dr., San Marcos, CA. This easy, 4-mile hike will visit the new 19-acre Sunset Park and explore the trails in the west portion of the city. Walking shoes recommended; bring water and trail snacks.

Sat., Jun 5, 2010, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, World Ocean’s Day with Hornblower Cruises. Free facepainting and storytime of “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish” by Seuss. 

Sat., Jun 5, 2010, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Free Screening of  TOY STORY 2 at Museum of San Diego History in Balboa Park.

Sun. June 6, 2010, 2nd Annual Encinitas Enviroment Day in conjunction with Encinitas Enviroment Day Fair.  Free to all!  Bike Parade starts at 9am, fair begins at 10 am at Cottonwood Creek Park on Encinitas Blvd. and Vulcan Ave. on the west side of 5 frwy.
