You can tell it is fall/autumn.  There are so many great events going on from apple picking, early Oktoberfest, pumpkin patches to street fairs and movies.

Pumpkin Patch @ Bates Nut Farm. Opening Sep, 22, 2010. It’s official, Fall is upon us, starting Wednesday September 22nd. For most of us that means the holidays are rapidly approaching & decorations will be displayed prominently in retail stores or perhaps your home.  The first sign of Fall is when Bates Nut Farm opens up their Pumpkin Patch. Encinitas Heritage Oktoberfest, Sept. 26, 2010, 10am to 6pm at Mountain Vista and El Camino Real Encinitas, CA. Oktoberfest has about 200 craft booths, food (German picnic BBQ), Bavarian bands, dancers, and a sweepstakes drawing for a trip to Germany

San Marcos Civic Center Screen. Someone lets the genie out of the bottle this week as we climb from the depths of society with an adventurous street rat in Aladdin, and fall from fame with a displaced canine movie star in Bolt. September 25 & 26, 2010.  Movies start at 8:00 pm.

Carlsbad Music Festival with a Village Music Walk on September 24-26, 2010.  The Carlsbad Music Festival is an annual alternative classical music festival featuring master artists and the next generation of cutting-edge, world-class musicians premiering new works and performing fresh and compelling music in concert and in the community. 

ArtSplash of Carlsbad is on Sept. 25-26, 2010.  It is a FREE, two-day, non-profit, family event that promotes and benefits arts within the community.   It is located on Armada Drive above The Flower Fields® in Carlsbad, California ArtSplash is a community-wide partnership of organizations and businesses working together to establish an Annual Family Event showcasing North County.  There are unbelievable Chalk Art Street Paintings, crafts, amazing food, and merchants.
