December Holiday Fun in Southern Cal.

Posted on 15. Dec, 2010 by in For Kids

It is the most wonderful time of the year….for this launch pad, anyway. We start any and all decorating the day after Thanksgiving.  Not one snowflake or Santa is unpacked until the day AFTER Thanksgiving.  Since we enjoy partaking in ALL the festivities we can squeeze in, instead of doing a weekend post for Family Fun, all of December is going to be in this post and we will keep it on the front page for the month.  You can check back at any time to find something fun to do.  Some of our rockiteers’ favorites: Oceanside Boat Parade, Encinitas Holiday Parade, Christmas on the Prado aka December Nights at Balboa Park, Ice skating at the Del or Horton Plaza, Jungle Bells at the Zoo and Night of Lights at Wild Animal Park and the best, Mickey’s Christmas Parade at Disneyland.
