Pizza Burgers

This is great for a quick snack, travel lunch or sleepover treat. 

Ingredients:

1-2 Whole Wheat hamburger buns

4 oz of pasta sauce

Pepperoni

Salami

1 cup of mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil – about 1 oz in long shreds.

Instructions:

This is so simple a 4 year old can do it.

Open a bun and place insides up.  Cover each bun with 1-2 tablespoons of sauce.  Add pepperoni or salami slices. Cover with cheese.  Place in toaster oven until cheese is completely melted.  After brining bun out of toaster over, place 3-4 ribbons of basil on top of melted cheese. Place bun together and cut in 1/4 squares. Repeat for other bun.
