All of us at RockitMom share a passion for physical fitness, and why not? Workouts are fun. Being fit feels good, and it sets a great example for your kids. A fitness habit builds confidence and discipline….no downside there. It’s all good, so we want to share.

On Line Tips!

In this section you’ll find workout tips designed to keep your workouts interesting, and hopefully new ideas that fit into your busy schedule. You can also share what works for you, a success story, or even a “don’t do this” horror story. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll post it, or add a comment to an existing post.

Three ways to work out with RockitMom...

1 - Classes

Every Tuesday at 9:00 am, RockIt Mom Boot Camp is at a park in La Costa, CA. Please contact us if you would like to attend this 60 min. high energy workout. Your First Class is FREE. Every Monday and Wednesday at 9:00am Dana teaches at CRUNCH FITNESS at located at 563 Grand Ave., San Marcos CA. There is no additional charge for gym members, however, an guest pass or membership is required.

2 - Personal or Group Training

Contact us for affordable small group or personal training sessions. You pick the focus, cardio, core strength, muscles, or even sunset yoga. We love to hold classes outdoors and use natural terrain (and maybe a small dose of very simple equipment) in our programs, sort of an “organic” workout. We promise that our number one workout goal is fun, which makes all of the rest of the workout goals fall into line. Workouts can be held at our private indoor/outdoor training facility located in the Twin Oaks Valley of North San Marcos, or one of many beautiful public parks, beaches, or trails systems in the North County. Dana holds an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Group Fitness Instructor credential and has many years of experience designing fun and healthy exercise classes for Moms on the run.

3 - FREE Group Workouts

Watch this site for posts about FREE group workouts, hikes, or runs. About once a month we invite our pals for a fun outdoor workout on local hiking trails, at the beach, or at the park. It’s a great way to get some fresh air, get your workout, meet new and old friends. Hope to see you at our next one!
