Who is RockIt Mom?

RockitMom is not a person, it’s an attitude, but a few special women who make this online community possible are: Kerri Fox, Mom to Jack, Joe and Erin, Queen of Fundraisers and Marketing Guru; Christie Applefield, Mom to Jacob, Cira, and Kalen, our Fitness & Soccer Hero; Hiba Fennelly, Mom to Mia and Liam, Hibernating PR Genius; and “Crazy” Dana Pustinger, Mom to Sara and Jack and a recovering Attorney.

Inaugural Philip Rivers Celebrity 5K Walk & Run.  This is to benefit the Rivers Hope Foundation supporting foster care and adoptions.

Oceanside Museum of Art is having a weekend of Native American art, WWII watercolors, and Underwater “Liquid”.

Check out the waves, DUDE!   THE ULTIMATE WAVE TAHITI at IMAX at Ruben H. Fleet.  Featuring nine-time world surfing champion Kelly Slater on September 4, 2010.

Where have all the tips been this summer? Where are the fun easy healthy recipes? I know, I have taken full advantage of summer and the sun (finally) and enjoying my family and the site has been low on the totem pole of life.  Which is my point, do things for yourself and don’t feel “obligated” or “must-do”. Remember to enjoy your family and yourself.   Just got back from a fabulous beach vacation – consisting of surfing, boogieboarding and eating like crazy EVERY DAY! Time to get back on the health train.
